PURPOSE: What in the world are you doing here? Seriously. Some questions are so fundamental to understanding our existence as human beings that we absolutely must be able to answer them. If we can't, our life drifts along in empty pursuits, superficial relationships, and never-satisfying quests for the next experience that will make us happy and give our lives meaning. So, what were you created for? This church exists to answer these questions: What am I? What am I becoming? What is right and wrong for me? How can I find guidance?
What
is NACC: many diverse people as possible. To open the minds of all the world, if we can. Church not your thing? No worries. Don't want to hear about Jesus? No problem. This is church for people who don't like church. You con't have to join, just come out whenever you like.We invite you to sit and learn what it means to experience the truth and mystery of God and your own divinity.
There is a golden thread that runs through every religion in the world. There is a golden thread that runs through the lives and the teachings of all the prophets, seers, sages and saviors in the world’s history, through the lives of all men and women of truly great and lasting power. All that they have ever done or attained to has been done in full accordance with law. What one has done, all may do. This same golden thread must enter into the lives of all who today, in this busy work-a-day world of ours, would exchange impotence for power, weakness and suffering for abounding health and strength, pain and unrest for perfect peace, poverty of whatever nature for fullness and plenty. |
